No Place Like Home Featuring Yelp’s “Home Away from Home” Event

Teasing aromas dance out of the kitchen while a set table beckons eager guests, and the promise of a delightful meal wraps the room in warmth. No, nothing can quite compare to a home-cooked meal shared with your favorite people in a place you love.  On June 28, Toll Brothers welcomed over 700 guests to Regency at Damonte Ranch in Reno, to enjoy Yelp’s Home Away from Home Event benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern Nevada. With the help of vendors, local communities, and many other generous contributors, together, we raised $16,000 toward keeping families close during their child’s time of medical need!

Laughter and merriment could be heard throughout the nine gorgeous Toll Brothers model homes as guests sampled diverse culinary creations from various vendors, including Blend, Butter and Salt, The Cheese Board, Crème, and Whole Foods. Attendees experienced the comfort that families receive from the Ronald McDonald House every day as the foundation provides loved ones with a place to live at little to no cost when their child requires hospitalization.

At Toll Brothers, we know that a community is made up of more than houses, and that it is only as strong as the people in it. We contribute to both regional and national organizations across the country every year. Support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern Nevada today, and learn more about how Toll Brothers gives back.

Were you unable to attend? Experience this exceptional event first-hand with our Facebook live broadcast as two of our associates take you through our Sundance and Gilmore model homes and speak with guest chefs from Liberty Food and Wine Exchange, and Blend Catering.

Hello! Quick question that’s entirely off
topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly?
My blog looks weird when viewing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to correct this issue.
If you have any recommendations, please share. Thank
    you!

Hello Ruben, thank you for your comment on our Toll Talks blog! There are a ton of blog themes available that are mobile friendly and will work well with your iPhone. You can find many at https://themeforest.net. Using a new theme that is already set up to be mobile friendly may be easier than trying to add a plugin that turns an existing site into a mobile friendly one (as there are so many devices to test on you may make it look good on your iPhone but it could look bad on an Android device or tablet).
