Color Me Pretty: Summer 2012

This summer it has been all about color. Turquoise, mint, tangerine, and sunshine yellow are just a few of the bright, happy colors that have stolen the stage within the past couple of months. Two of our vendor partners, Kohler® and Sherwin Williams®, have both embraced the color trend and have a few suggestions on how to make your Toll Brothers home feel like summer all year long.

Kohler® recently partnered up with Jonathan Adler to design a collection of sinks that are nothing less than bold. Their choices of colors make a statement, but are also easy to fit into your kitchen’s color scheme. The yellow, green and blue options that they offer are right on trend for this summer.

If you are looking for a fresh coat of paint instead, Sherwin Williams® Emerald Exterior paint is the way to go. Not only does it have extreme resistance to peeling and dirt, but it also comes in colors that would brighten up anyone’s day. Perfect for shutters, doors, or even a picket fence, Sherwin William’s beautiful colors will add just the right amount of pop to create fantastic curb appeal.

A few months from now when the cold starts to make its way back again (in certain parts of the country) and the sun doesn’t shine as frequently, you won’t be able to help but smile when you see your Palermo Blue Kohler® sink or your Overjoy yellow painted picket fence. Just because it won’t be summer anymore doesn’t mean you have to take away the color.

Hi – I visited the model home in Tarrytown, NY which has since been sold. The entry was painted a beautiful light gray. Any chance you know the name of the color?
