9 Steps to Owning Your Dream Home

By following these 9 easy steps we can make those dreams a reality.

STEP 1: Visit Sales Office

Since you’ve already been on TollBrothers.com and seen some of the options and designs that we offer, it’s time to visit one of our sales offices. Once you are there, you will work with one of our Toll Brothers sales professionals who will help you refine your choices by matching your needs and wants to one of our beautiful homes.

STEP 2: Place Your “Good Faith” Deposit

Once you’ve chosen your dream home on the home site of your interest, it is time to make sure that it is yours. By placing your “good faith” deposit, you mark the site as only yours.

STEP 3: Agreement of Sale

So here’s where things get moving. At the agreement of sale you will finalize your choice of floor plan, exterior design, and pick “Structural Options” (e.g. room additions, coffered ceilings, skylights, etc.). Now you can really see all of this coming together right?

STEP 4: Financing Application

To make life easier, all Toll Brothers customers obtaining financing complete a no-cost application for mortgage through TBI Mortgage. While you are not required to close with TBI Mortgage, we assure you they will help the financing process go as smoothly as possible.

STEP 5: Design Appointment

Now it’s time for the fun to begin. You will meet with our Design Studio staff to choose from hundreds of interior options, such as kitchen cabinets, light fixtures and tile and hardwood flooring to personalize your dream home. They will be there to help you with those indecisive moments (hey, I get it, choosing from a plethora of granite countertops can be a little overwhelming).

STEP 6: Orientation

With Toll Brothers, you are part of the building process every step of the way. First, you will be introduced to the community team who will verify all of your options, preview the building process and answer any questions you might have. After this, you will have your pre-dry wall orientation, or see your home before the walls are installed. Seven days before closing, your construction manager will take you on a guided tour of your new home to orient you to all of its features, appliances, and technology. He/she will also ensure that everything meets your expectations and explain the Toll Brothers Warranty program.

STEP 7: Sell Your Existing Home

It’s time to get rid of the old for the new! When it comes to selling your old home, starting the process as soon as possible is always best. If you need any help along the way, your Toll Brothers sales professional will be there to make this transition as smooth as possible.

STEP 8: Closing

The big day has arrived. Time to move in! Need I say more?

STEP 9: Moving Day!

Who enjoys packing and unpacking? I’ll tell you: no one. But before you know it you’ll be settled in and enjoying your dream home.

So how easy was that? Nine steps later you have what you’ve always wanted: the home you’ve always dreamed of. So how about heading over to the sales office and getting started? Think about it; then you’ll already only have eight steps left, and that’s practically nothing…right?
