The 22nd Annual Toll Brothers Gala – Great food, great fun, great cause!

Today’s story is from Angela Smith, Senior Specialist, Distinguished Events for the American Cancer Society.

Believe it or not, spring is right around the corner! As spring approaches, so does the Toll Brothers annual gala. The 22nd annual Toll Brothers Gala will take place this year on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Westin in Philadelphia. Each year, this black tie gala raises over $500,000 for the Society and those dollars are designated specifically to go only toward cancer research. Toll Brothers is well on our way to raising close to $6 million for the American Cancer Society as we raised our 5 millionth dollar with the 2013 event!

Because of Toll Brothers’ outstanding efforts in the fight against cancer, the American Cancer Society presented the company with an award last summer. Toll Brothers CEO, Doug Yearley, accepted the award at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA where many of the cancer research dollars are spent. Doug stated, “We are very impressed with ACS and with Fox Chase. We look forward to continuing to raise money and help this worthy cause.”

Here are a few pictures from last year’s 21st Annual Toll Brothers Gala:

Hi, my sister and I are interested in volunteering for this year’s Gala. We volunteer for benefit galas/balls throughout the year, such as the Lemon Ball for Alex’s Lemonade Stand and Basketball Gala Coaches vs. Cancer for American Cancer Society. We can be greeters, sell raffles, help with the live/silent auctions, and/or registration. Thank you and we look forward to helping out!
