On a beautiful May evening hundreds of people gathered together in Philadelphia with Bob Toll and Doug Yearley to help fight cancer. The event was the 21st Annual Fundraiser Gala to Benefit the American Cancer Society held at the Hyatt Regency Penn’s Landing.
It was an evening of music, dining, bidding against each other on auction items, and gathering among friends all for the purpose of raising money to fund this very important research. This year’s event raised nearly $500,000!
We’re already planning next year’s event. Find out more on our Gala website, or read more about our other charitable events here.
Toll Brothers and its employees get involved in many charities, both local charities near the communities that we build, and national charities. I recently sat down with Colleen McCandless to find out more about the different charitable activities that Toll Brothers and its employees are doing across the country.
Colleen is Toll Brothers Senior Human Resources Manager responsible for training and development, policies and programs covering employment, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. She also coordinates the company’s charitable events.
